Hi! My name is Tammie Fields. I am the former Weekend Anchor at 10 News, WTSP-TV and I am currently wrapping up my graduate studies at the University of South Florida-St. Petersburg campus in Digital Journalism & Design. As part of my final project I am organizing the Tampa Woolworth Project which honors the courageous actions of Tampa, Florida resident Clarence Fort and the NAACP Youth Council.

With the current revitalization of Downtown Tampa, the Tampa Woolworth Project wants to make sure that a historical marker is erected near the F.W. Woolworth building to commemorate the historical sit in demonstrations.

With your financial support The F.W. Woolworth Project is in the process of submitting an application for a Hillsborough County Historical Marker as well as a Florida Historical Marker so that the landmark can be added to "Florida's Black Heritage Trail."
